Jervoise Bay Sailing Club formed in 1977 by workers at a Jervoise Bay shipyard on company land. Business expansion required club re-development on the north side of Woodman Point (Owen Anchorage).
JBSC has a long standing history with off the beach catamarans from hosting the Tornado Worlds in 91/92, the 39th NACRA Nationals & the F18 Nationals in 2018, to the numerous State level events held every year.
